Performance (December 2023):

The Cost per Rail Passenger Trip of $10.59 in December exceeded the forecast by $1.99. This unfavorable variance was due to operating expenses coming in over budget. The 2024 Fiscal Year-to-Date (months of July through December) Cost per Rail Passenger Trip exceeded the forecast by $0.33. This unfavorable variance was due to operating expenses coming in over budget.
